40 Day Journeys of Transformation

When you join an Awakened Body Seasonal Cleanse you join a community of like-minded souls, supporting one another as we align our body with the rhythms of the year. Each cleanse includes guidance and challenges for body, mind, heart and soul, drawn from Kabbalah.

Spring Cleanse: Renewal

We humans are not so different from plants, stretching towards the sun, colorfully alive. At the Spring Cleanse, we celebrate our blossoming, radiant souls living out our highest purpose. There are two options for this self-guided cleanse, one aligning with the Catholic practice of Lent and another with the Jewish practice of Counting the Omer. In addition, in 2023, the Muslim commemoration of Ramadan, a deep cleaning ritual of its own also falls in the spring.

Summer Cleanse: Rebirth

The fiery sun of summer burns us clean, calling us to surrender to the flames all that no longer serve us. Imbibing death, we allow that which no longer serves us to fall away, so that we might begin again anew.

Autumn Cleanse: Return

Fall is a time for new beginnings, planting gardens and setting goals. Drawing from the Jewish Wisdom tradition, during the Fall Cleanse we adopt the practice of a Soul Accounting (heshbon ha'nefesh), to harvest seeds from the fruits of the past and set vision for the future.

    Winter Cleanse: Rededication

Newness is birthed from darkness. To become, a seed, planted in deepest soil, must journey beyond the darkness of the earth, returning to the Nothingness that birthed us all, before emerging again as a sprout. Our growth is no different. Enter deepest darkness during this winter cleanse, to birth yourself anew.
